Vaginal Probiotics Suppositories
Description
Recolonise your vagina with the ‘good’ bacteria
Feel fresh and keep odours at bay, while managing the symptoms of BV, thrush and UTIs.
Our perfectly formulated women's probiotic supports overall wellness, balances your vaginal flora, and maintains a healthy pH level.
We care about your body, so our vaginal probiotics suppositories only contain the ingredients you need (namely, lactobacilli – the ‘good’ bacteria that lives in your vagina). Our capsules are free of fragrances, synthetic ingredients and other potentially irritating fillers.
How our Women’s Vaginal Probiotic Suppository works
When healthy, our vaginas are mostly colonised with Lactobacillus (the good bacteria). But when our vaginal lactobacilli reserves are depleted our microbiome gets out of balance, allowing other bacteria, viruses and yeast to take over. This makes us more susceptible to infections like BV, thrush and UTIs.
A vaginal probiotic suppository sends the good bacteria exactly where it’s needed, so none of the benefits are lost in your digestive tract.
By replenishing our vaginas with the good bacteria, we’re allowing healthy flora to thrive.
We recommend using our Vaginal Probiotics in conjunction with our Boric Acid Suppositories for optimum vaginal health.
Composition:
100% vegetarian capsules containing lyophilized probiotics - Lactobacillus reuteri and Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Additionally, hydrolyzed collagen and active oxygen are included in each capsule, providing a potent 50 billion CFU per capsule.
How to use our Women’s Vaginal Probiotics
DO NOT TAKE CAPSULES ORALLY. Our suppositories are designed to be inserted intravaginally.
DO NOT USE CAPSULES IF PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING.
With clean hands, gently insert one capsule in the vagina, as far as it can comfortably go. Repeat daily, for 7 days, then one capsule every week for 10 weeks.
We recommend inserting the capsules in the evening, before bed.
Some discharge is normal, so we recommend wearing a pad or liner to bed.
We recommend avoiding sex until 12 hours after your last treatment.
How to use
- Wash your hands thoroughly to ensure cleanliness.
- Lie down in a comfortable position, typically on your back with knees bent. Gently insert the suppository into the vagina as far as it will comfortably go, similar to inserting a tampon.
- Probiotics suppositories can dissolve overnight and may cause some mild discharge. A panty liner can help keep you comfortable and protect your underwear.
- Allow the suppository to work while you sleep. The suppository will gradually dissolve and be absorbed overnight.
Repeat daily, for 7 days, then one capsule every week for 10 weeks.
